Campus Of The Week: Miami
After spending this past weekend in Vegas and seeing enough shit faced people dressed up like Santa Claus to last a lifetime, I felt like I needed some quality time to sit back, relax and detox. Nah, thats all bullshit…I am actually headed to Miami this weekend and you should be too. This weeks Campus Of The Week is the University of Miami “THE U”. If you have not been down to this campus you truly have no idea what your missing. It actually astonishes me how anyone who attends “THE U” (and yes every time I write THE U it will be in capital letters because its badass like that and I am afraid Ed Reed might hunt me down if I don’t) can pass or make it to any classes. This is the perfect time to go, classes are over for everyone and all other Coeds are heading to South Beach for winter vacation. One thing about THE U is that they do it big, so put your game face on and prepare to get crazy. Pack your shit and head south, follow my lead and you should be enjoying one of the sickest winter breaks known to mankind. Big shout out to NYC2LA, one of the sickest services out there for exclusive spots, this company has the straight hookup.
Let’s get back to basics to start things off, where to stay? It’s the holiday season, you will be getting money from relatives so don’t hesitate to ball out a little when in Miami. My suggestion would be to hit The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club. Great atmosphere, in the middle of all the partying, and steps from the beach. Remember this will not be your normal weekend college roadtrip. Your in Miami now, one of the biggest party scenes in the entire world. Forget about drinking PBR and eating soggy pizza at 4AM, your in the land of champagne and fake tits so enjoy it while it lasts.
Friday December 18- Liv Like A Player
The spot to be is Liv located at the Fontainebleau Hotel. Don’t get me wrong this will definitely set you back some lunch money but it’s not like you haven’t eaten ramen noodles for 2 weeks straight in the past before right? The night is being thrown around the New Pussycat Dolls workout so you know there will be some unbelievable woman in attendance. Guys, I highly suggest doing it right and getting table service, there will be more floridan tail flocking over to you then Dan Marino had back in the 90′s. Pop the bottles all night long and go home with something to poke on (sorry about that Dr. Dre just stopped by and felt the need to add to this post), if your ass couldn’t hook up tonight go hit some late munchies at News Cafe. This spot is the classic Miami beach chow down restaurant open 24 hours a day. This is a hot spot so be prepared see and be scene right in the middle of ocean drive.
Saturday December 19- Day Party On The Beach, Burgers, And The It Spot To Be
Whether your waking up next to a tan blonde bombshell or a half eaten egg sandwich, its time to get the hell up and do it all over again. Quick shower and an orange gatorade will do your right, get dressed in beach gear and head directly over to Nikki Beach. This is honestly one of my favorite places to party during the day, with locations all over the world Nikki Beach is a true location for all you Campus Socialites. If you have never been to Nikki Beach picture half naked women, champagne all over the place, giant white beds and lounge chairs all on the beach with the house DJ spinning some serious trance like music. Start off by ordering some eatz, take a few drinks down, and scout out the scene. Once your old friend inebriation rolls around approach that gorgeous brunette with a fake rack and see if you can pull some day time ass. This day party should take you into the late afternoon, once the party dies down head back to the hotel grab a burger at The Burger Bar at Bourbon Steak, and get that power nap in. The spot to be tonight is Mokai located at 235 23rd Street. This is the new spot to be as it is sure to bumping on a Saturday night, always a possibility of ripping shots with Lil John or Dwyane Wade too.
Sunday December 20- Don’t Forget About D-Wade
Listen, by this point it would be a true miracle if you felt normal. After partying your ass off all weekend and balling out in style it’s time to kick it before heading back home. The ideal plan for today is the beach and the heat. Sweat out the booze all day and soak in those slammin beach bodies. Come mid afternoon pack your bags but before jetting out go see D-Wade and the Miami Heat take on the Portland Trailblazers at 6PM. Great young talent featured in this game and there really is no need to rush home all the good Sunday night shows are over anyway.
