The Thunder might not have made the Finals, but surely you couldn’t blame Kevin Durant. Ever since the first round draft pick and the hype surrounding it, Kevin Durant has done nothing to disappoint. The NBA might be locked out with no end in sight but that didn’t stop Durant from walking on the court yesterday and making everyone around him look stupid. Rucker Park is legendary in Basketball, hosting Kareem Abdul-Jubar and Kobe Bryant and a jump off point for many of the NBA’s current stars. It’s basically Mecca for Ballers and Durant showed his respect by scoring 66 points, going 9 for 11 on 3s, and hitting 5 straight in the 4th quarter. Maybe it’s because we need so much to believe that Basketball will be back but stuff is going viral. Check out some of the video footage right below.
