Lady Gaga blew up everyone’s eyes & ears last year and seems as if she will continue to do so in 2010. Known for her eccentric and extremely creative outfits along with her ability to produce chart-topping singles on a daily basis. Gaga has set herself apart from other female pop artists over the past year, she is incredibly talented and isn’t afraid to push the envelope. Kinda reminds you of Madonna back in the day.

Now YOU’RE about to start seeing her face a whole lot more thanks to anew multi-year deal she’s cut with camera maker Polaroid. Along with the deal comes a new title for Gaga, creative director at the company. Gaga said the following about pursuing this new opportunity.”Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer and to — as my father puts it — finally, have a real job.”

Polaroid has been struggling in recent years ever since we all started to buy digital cameras and upload them onto our computers instead of waiting four days for our pictures at CVS. They eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2001. Private-equity firms purchased Polaroid last year; expect to see more of the company this year via licensing agreements.

The deal with Gaga will set up Polaroid to have a greater presence amongst the younger generation who are used to taking pictures of everything at all times. We all know those girls (and dare I say guys?) who are like the paparazzi at the bars. You all know who you are its ok, we won’t name names!

Expect to start seeing new ADS with Gaga’s face and fashion sense all over them soon, along with a new product line from Polaroid & Gaga by Christmas 2010.

Said Lady Gaga in a statement: “The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation — blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era — and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand.”

Well Gaga, WE’RE all anxious to see with what comes of this partnership, if your clothes and music are any indication of how you plan to utilize your new job, then this should be pretty interesting to say the least.
