O.A.R. Takes This Town.
By Danny Yellin
O.A.R. rocked Madison Square Garden Saturday Night leaving a sold out crowd wide-eyed and speechless. O.A.R., currently on the “This Town” tour, rolled into the Garden for the third time in the past four years, with many in the audience claiming this was best out of the three. Saxophone player Jerry Depizzo even tweeted shortly after the show that this was “the best O.A.R. show ever.”

The energy from the crowd was electrifying as the band ripped through their two hour and thirty minute set. Fans new and old were pleased with the collection of songs ranging from concert staples like “City on Down,” “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker” to newer radio hits “Shattered” and “This Town.”
The highlight of the night occurred during the encore when Robert Randolph, Matt Nathanson and DJ Logic joined O.A.R. on stage for a memorable performance of “Fool In The Rain” and With a Little Help From My Friends”
