On Thursday, December 3rd at 1PM a group of America’s top Major League Eaters and average Joes will gather to compete at City Crab & Seafood Company in New York City in pursuit of victory at “The Slammin’ Salmon World Seafood-Eating Contest” to kick off the new Broken Lizard movie from Anchor Bay Films, The Slammin’ Salmon, which will open in theatres on Friday, December 11, 2009.sMembers of the Broken Lizard cast (Supertroopers, Beerfest), as well as star Michael Clarke Duncan will be on hand for the first-ever world salmon chowder-eating record event. Also top ALT Rock station WRXP will be there as well with tons of prize giveaways!!

The event will take place inside City Crab & Seafood Company at 235 Park Avenue South at 19th Street in Manhattan.  Open to the public viewing plus have the chance to meet the stars of the film and witness Seafood history!
