A Shot of Yager: MONSTER OUTBREAK PODCAST w/ Rev Theory, Pop Evil and Black Cloud Collective

shot-of-yager

MONSTER Energy drink has put together an awesome rock show called the MONSTER OUTBREAK TOUR and I got the chance to talk members of Rev Theory, Pop Evil, and Black Cloud Collective, three of the bands headlining the tour. Click here to listen on a mobile phone.

Julien Jorgensen, the guitarist for Rev Theory (whose song “Hell Yeah” has been used by countless TV programs like Wrestlemania and Blue Mountain State) joins me to talk about what it’s like to be the official band of the WWE. Rev Theory have been very successful as of late and headline the tour that is meant to display some of the up-and-coming acts in the world of rock and heavy metal.

Matt DiRito, the bassist of Pop Evil, tells me what makes their newest album, which comes out this month, so much more hard hitting than their last.

Brandon Saller, the former drummer and vocalist for the very popular heavy metal band Atreyu, now represents his new side project Black Cloud Collective. He joins me and we talk about what it’s like to go solo and how he has benefitted from putting down the sticks for a while.
