What is your definition of a Campus Socialite?

A Socialite of a Campus is one who entertains. This person cares more about the energy and excitement that others feel. When the party is having fun, he is having fun. Using social skills to bring people together and most importantly network. In the eye of the Campus Socialite, social networking and business go hand-in-hand. This is the person who brings the campus together.

What has been your most defining moment in college?

My most defining moment has to be my Deadmau5 concert in the Fall Semester of 2010-2011 Michigan School Year. Bringing the worlds largest DJ and hosting a 5,000-person party for your friends could not have been a greater feeling. I went from a small time promoter to reaching my life dream in 4 years of college.

If you could have any two roomates, male or female, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

1. I would have to say Swedish House Mafia. It would be the perfect theme song to my life.

2. Would be Alexander McQueen. I mean could you image the amount of girls who would be at my house because of him? Legendary. The guy knows how to spell s.t.y.l.e.

If you were to enter class to a theme song every day, when the doors fly open, what song would play?

It would be “Leave the World Behind (Original Mix)” – Axwell, Ingrosso, Angello, Laidback Luke Ft. Deborah Cox. I keep it simple because of something I’ve lived by since I could remember. YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. If you don’t leave the world behind you and live in the now, you are not going to have fun. Sure live later…. loser.

If your life were to be sponsored in college, who would your sponsor be and why?

Apple would be my sponsor. I’m talking Multiple Mac computers, Ipod Touch, Ipod Nano, iPhone, Ipad. There is nothing Apple doesn’t come out with that I don’t represent. They have a clean, modern, streamlined look and that’s what I’m all about.

What is your definition of a Campus Socialite?

Someone who socializes with everyone, is well-known, outgoing, smart and takes pride in whats going on on campus.

What has been your most defining moment in college?

When I had a triple double in a game and had no clue what a triple double was! 18 points 14 blocks and 13 rebounds.  Also, I had the game-winning dunk!

If you have a friend coming from out of town for the night and you want to show them an epic time, where do you take them?

Straight into NYC!  1 Oak and District 36, a definite advantage to going to school so close to the city.

If you could have any two roomates, male or female, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Halle Berry, because of Monsters Ball and Swordfish.

Dennis Rodman, wild guy like me we could have fun together.

If you were to enter class to a theme song every day, when the doors fly open, what song would play?

Black and Yellow, You know what it is!

If you were to win “The Campus Socialite of the Year” award and a biography was written about you and your college career, what would the title be?

What has been your most defining moment in college?

21st birthday

Rented out bar + Alcohol + 500 friends + 2 hours of open bar for the ladies = RAGE, and it was all legal!

If you could have any two roomates, male or female, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Easy, Li’l Wayne and Carrie Underwood, one for the music and the parties and the other, well, if you have to ask…

When an NFL player wins the Super Bowl, he says he is going to Disney Land. If you win “The Campus Socialite Award”, where will you go?

I’M GOING TO VEGAS BABY! While remembering Sid’s advice from the Hangover, “Remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Except for herpes. That’ll come back with you.”

If you were to win “The Campus Socialite of the Year” award and a biography was written about you and your college career, what would the title be?

Nothing Comes Easy… Well except the Olympic trial cuts, the 3.5 GPA, and the ladies.

What is your definition of a Campus Socialite?

A down to earth, approachable person who always seems to be having a good time.

If you have a friend coming from out of town for the night and you want to show them an epic time, where do you take them?

Since Claremont is lacking in a college bar scene, I would probably take them to a college sponsored party. Sounds lame, but hey it’s the people that make the party, right?

If you could have any two roomates, male or female, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

I would choose my dog Mowgli to keep me company- he’s a chiller- and the DJ Avicii to keep the party going- his essential mix changed me

If your life were to be sponsored in college, who would your sponsor be and why?

Probably Nike. I play both water polo and baseball- sports take up most of my day.

If you were to enter class to a theme song every day, when the doors fly open, what song would play?

The Austin Power’s Theme song. It gets really annoying, but the first few bars are bomb. Either that or Voodoo Child- I’m a big Jimi fan.

What is your definition of a Campus Socialite?

I feel a Campus Socialite is someone who is really well balanced, and outgoing in the sense that they are easy to talk to, as well as being able to have a good time, while still getting all of their academic work done.

If you could have any two roomates, male or female, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Two roommates, that is more of a difficult question. But if I had to choose only two, I would pick my two good friends Mike Galello and Paul Tucker. Those guys know how to have a good time, and Paul taught me a lot of what I know in being a Campus Socialite.

If you were to enter class to a theme song every day, when the doors fly open, what song would play?

Sticks and Stones, by my favorite little- known British artist, Jamie T. It’s really an uplifting song, and I feel I bring positive energy like his music, or at least that is what I would like to think, few people would disagree.

What is your definition of a Campus Socialite?

My definition of a Campus Socialite is a positive and active student on campus thriving to make sure his/her fellow students are constantly “in the know” of what is going on around them. Whether it is the opening of a new club, the sports schedule of the season, or where they can get the best deals – a campus socialite should always be ready to promote all the great things their campus offers.

What is your drink of choice and what does is say about you?

Tequila. Give me a shot of Patron or a Margarita on the rocks and I’m good to go. There is never a frown or poor time to be had by anyone when Tequila is in the picture. I can recall three nights particular that I chose Tequila and all three of those nights will stick with me for the rest of my life. If I want to have a good time, I invite my friend Jose along. What this says about me is hard to say. Do I like a beer when I’m chilling with my boys watching the game? Sure. Do I like a good Jack and Coke when I know it’s going to be a mellow night? Absolutely. However, I’m all about showing people a good time and when this needs to be done, Tequila is my go to.

If you were to enter class to a theme song every day, when the doors fly open, what song would play?

The first thing I thought to put when I read this question was a rap song. I’m into Hip Hop and R&B so it felt natural. However, none of the lyrics really fit in with the way I live my life so I went with a different genre. With this being said, I would probably walk in each day to “Float On” by Modest Mouse. I’m a confident guy with an optimistic outlook on life – if I’m in a bind, I’ll find my way out of it in the most positive way possible. Although I’d rather walk into a song I could dance to, these lyrics fit with who I am.

When an NFL player wins the Super Bowl, he says he is going to Disney Land. If you win “The Campus Socialite Award”, where will you go?

I’ve never really understood why they say Disneyland (laughs). Being a football player myself, I feel like if I were to win something as big as the NFL or as honorable as “The Campus Socialite Award”, I’d want to go somewhere to party and celebrate my victory. I’m all about the sun so I’d go to Miami or The Caribbean, Puerto Rico to be more specific. More importantly, I’d want the people I have the most fun with by my side because that’s what really makes the WINNING destination.

If you were to win “The Campus Socialite of the Year” award and a biography was written about you and your college career, what would the title be?

“Young, Wild, and Free”
