Celebrate Life #ENDCANCER With Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation

Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation was created in 1996 by Grammy-nominated songwriter and philanthropist Denise Rich, in memory of her daughter Gabrielle after her untimely death from acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).  Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation funds the nation’s best and brightest young scientific investigators conducting research in the fields of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.  Since its inception, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has awarded grants totaling nearly $20 million and maintains its status as one of the largest non-governmental sources of grant support for blood cancer research in the nation.

Today, the Junior Committee of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has launched the first of four videos which will create a campaign and platform empowering youth to make a difference in the fight to end cancer.  The Junior Committee of the Foundation is made up of up and coming youth entertainers, philanthropists and entrepreneurs.

The team at Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation are close friends of Campus Socialite and we couldn’t be any more excited about getting involved to help the cause.  Watch the video, make a difference, be a True Campus Socialite!

On May 30th hundreds of young entertainers, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and influencers will unite at Lavo to raise money for cancer research. You can purchase tickets here.
