Everyone knows that when it comes to new phones, it’s a big deal to witness who is going to cop the very first ones created. Take the Apple iPhone 4 for instance, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next few weeks or months, there is a problem with the phone, that’s the way it always goes. Let’s cut to the chase for my T-Mobile customers…
After two years, T-Mobile announces that the G2 is going to be released soon. The question is, is this a response and competition to the iPhone 4? (Most of you would likely say no). Though no further detalis have been released as far as the look, color and style, what we should be aware of is if it will be another Android phone. What T-Mobile is putting a big emphasis on is the introduction of HSPA + smartphone (short for High Speed Packet Access) network on 4G. If you ask me, that is taking a shot at Sprint with their 4G phone, the Evo, I’m just saying.
If you are a T-Mobile customer, you can sign up for e-mail updates to notify you as more information gets released. For more information about the first HSPA+ Smartphone, go to g2.t-mobile.com. In the meantime, you can enjoy this “supposed” pictuire of what the phone is supposed to look like.
