When you think of the New York Yankees, words that usually come to mind include pride, power, tradition, arrogance, and spending. So when a bathroom is the setting of the New York Yankees latest photo shoot, something doesn’t make sense. Photo shoots are supposed to enhance one’s image. Just ask any cover girl on Sports Illustrated. I know A-Rod’s season last year went down the toilet, but you don’t have to display that image literally.
Alex Rodriguez is the Lebron James of baseball, simply because he is an easy target for jokes. Taking pictures with a camera man in a urinal doesn’t exactly help out his image. The new Yankee Stadium cost roughly $1.5 billion, yet they couldn’t find a better place to take media day photos. I find that hard to believe.
