NFL Playoffs 2010 Wild Card Weekend January 8th & 9th, 2010

New York Jets @ Indianapolis Colts

8:00pm Saturday NBC

In last season’s AFC Championship game the Colts defeated the Jets 30-17 to advance to the Super Bowl in Miami. Jets head coach Rex Ryan had his team streaking through the playoffs until they ran into the Peyton Manning buzzsaw. This year the Jets are 11-5 and are traveling back to the scene of their demise in the Wild Card Round. Manning’s receiving corps is different from last season due to a rash of injuries and the Jets have been humbled just enough in the past month to come in like gangbusters out for revenge.

Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs

1:00pm Sunday CBS

The 12-4 Baltimore Ravens will be traveling to Kansas City on Sunday for their Wild Card matchup. Kansas City finished the season in horrible fashion by getting destroyed by the Oakland Raiders. The Ravens are flying high as RB Ray Rice has found his stride and QB Joe Flacco has begun to come into his own as an elite player. The Ravens defense wont have much trouble getting pressure on Chiefs QB Matt Cassell and should easily roll the Chiefs on the road.
