With the range of interests among students running wider than Octomom’s birth canal,  you could imagine just how difficult a task it is to appeal to an entire campus community with a single musical performance.  Well, not to anyone at The Campus Socialite’s surprise, rock comedian Brian Smith, has struck again with his ode to the Pride of Long Island – “The Hofstra Song.” Already a viral video superstar for his songs The Adventures of and Your Sister Has Herpes…She Gave ‘Em To Me – Brian’s “Hofstra Song,” debuted to a raucous response from the hometown crowd at Saturday’s Hofstra Music Fest. Smith has further cemented himself as the over the top, voice of hilarity for the university scene where “The Hofstra Song” is just the first in a series of  campus anthems that are guaranteed to sweep the nation and keep us all hungry for more of the unconventional comedic stylings of Brian Smith.  Don’t forget to check out the official video of “The Hofstra Song” below, listen to “IU We’re All For You,” a tribute to Indiana University (video to follow), and read on to see what other campus songs will be released in the coming weeks.
