The feelings that outgoing seniors experience as graduation approaches run the gamut from fear, to nostalgia, to regret, to acceptance, and sometimes – if you feel like your time to move on has arrived – happiness. I know that concept of welcoming graduation with open arms sounds ludicrous, but if you did college the right way and took full advantage of all four (or more) undergraduate years than it’s not all that abnormal to embrace the future with no regrets in your past. As nice as these last few sentences have sounded, we do not all live in a perfect world and many grads receive their diploma and are sent out on their own into a tough economy without a job – but it always helps to remember one thing, this is just another stage in life.
