Sneaker of the Week: Nike Zoom Hustle Tony Parker PE

France has made its fair share of meaningful contributions to American society.  French toast, the Statue of Liberty, and of course the fine theatrical work of Jean Reno a.k.a. Leon the Professional.  Of all these tremendous influences, perhaps none are greater than the work of San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker.  The three time NBA All-Star has been a staple of the Spurs championship brand of basketball and has carved his legacy as one of the best foreign players in league history.  Only the best kicks can contain Parker’s speed and versatility, so that’s why Tony dons his Nike Zoom Hustles when he takes the court.

When you think about it, it is hard to find any man whose life you’d rather have other than Tony Parker’s.  He is on that elite baller level with the likes of Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, and Justin Timberlake.  Just at Parker’s setup: he is a three time NBA Champion, 2007 NBA Finals MVP, a French hip-hop artist, a God in his home country, and – if that isn’t enough – the husband of smokeshow actress Eva Longoria who is also seven years his senior.  You think Parker would really be rocking anything other than the hottest kicks on his feet?  Of course not, and his Nike Zoom Hustles do not disappoint.

At first glance, you can see that this particular sneaker possesses many characteristics of the infamous Nike Hyperflight. As for the colorway, Parker’s Zoom Hustles have a relatively simple look. Coinciding with the Spurs jerseys, this shoe owns a two-tone, grey/black upper with minimal white accents such as the swoosh, the Zoom Air logo on the sole and the Nike logo on the tongue.  These fresh to death sneakers are priced at $145 and can be found at OSneaker.com.
