That was a mouthful. Welcome to the Thanksgiving Edition of Throwback Thursdays, where I’ve meticulously collected some of the best old school Turkey Day crap into one place for you. While you’ll probably spend most of the day stuffing your face, playing/watching football, and conversing with your least favorite relatives, you might get 5 minutes of downtime. Apparently, someone saw the trailer for Adam Sandler’s new movie Jack and Jill and thought of this scene from Paul Schrader’s Hardcore. In the original scene, actor George C. Scott plays a religious conservative watching an 8mm loop of his own daughter getting double-teamed by two dudes, but some mastermind decided to repurpose it for this trailer, which features Adam Sandler as a character named Jack, and Adam Sandler as his sister, named Jill.
