Move over Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street. The two most important movements in recent history start today and they are both facial hair related: Novembeard and Movember. It’s simple really. Mustaches vs. Beards, the eternal struggle between two timeless classics in manliness. This isn’t one for non-participation and silence, socialites. This is a fight worth fighting and a fight to the bitter end. So I ask you this: Have you picked your side?

It’s like starting with one dude, and ending with a completely different dude. This guy wanted to shave off his glorious manbeard, and he got way more than that. I’ve never seen such cinematic magic, blended so well with awesome facial hair. Well done Petey Boy.
You can imagine our excitement when we stumbled upon IFC’s new reality show, Whisker Wars, premiering this Friday. The show will chronicle the World Cup style competition over which country has the best facial hair. It will follow Team USA in it’s quest to take down Germany, The New York Yankees of Bearding. If we could get behind Women’s Soccer, surely we can get behind this. USA!
