Stuntman and gymnast Aung Zaw Oo, better known as AZO, has some incredible hand/eye coordination. His compiled video of tricks and stunts from this year includes the usual freerunning maneuvers, but ventures into the realm of shuttlewilly kicking, flair bartending, rhythmic gymnastics (slightly girly, but we’ll forgive him), and chopsticks throwing. Is there any better way to start your week than with a dope free running compilation? I didn’t think so. Professional stuntman, gymnastics coach and free runner Damien Walters shows off his sweetest moves in this year’s reel. My one beef? Some of the best moves were done in a gym, on pads, which takes the hardcore out of parkour.
The extreme sports gaming franchise has been in the market for a revival of the “pro” series for a while. Activision abandoned everything but Tony Hawk, but the way these guys imitated the classic video game gets me amped, and there’s nothing I’d love to do more than freerun in a virtual world where I can’t injure myself.
