That’s a long-ass title, but well worth it for what’s to follow. Today we feature three things I’ve been waiting to do for quite some time now, but kept changing my mind. Well, this time there’s no stopping me, and it’s time to reminiscence with some awesome crap from back in the day. Get your moonshoes on and get ready to bounce: it’s Throwback Thursday.
I don’t know about you, but when I was 9 years old I had a major obsession with Pokemon. I’m not going to lie, I still play Gold Version in the back of the lecture hall. Makes class more bearable. But there were so many facets to these weird creatures, it’d be hard to squeeze it into just one part of this column. So America’s favorite Japanese nonsense gets an entire Throwback Thursday to itself.
This Throwback Thursday is gonna bridge some generation gaps. Each one of my three nostalgic items has been carefully picked and plucked from time to touch a different group of people. So not everyone might appreciate this whole thing, but maybe you should learn about what the college students before you liked as kids. Check it.
If you don’t like all three things from this week Throwback Thursday, then you don’t deserve to be called a true Campus Socialite. I think the title is self-explanatory, so let’s get into it. Gun it to 88 MPH, we’re gonna take this bitch back in time.
