It’s really happening. HBO swears to God that it’s not an April Fools joke and that Game of Thrones Season 2 will officially premiere on April 1st. If you knew how much we talked about this show in the Campus Socialite office, you would think we were considerably less cool. In typical HBO fashion, this Game Of Thrones trailer leaves much to the imagination, but it is by no means a teaser. From what it looks like, there will be action from day 1 and it won’t stop until the end. The fight for the throne is on. Winter is here.
No matter how far time goes, Ferris Bueller’s badass legacy will forever live on, even if 80’s film culture is something we’ve all tried very hard to phase out. So you can imagine everyone’s excitement when this video got released, subtly implying that, holy stuff, they are planning to release a sequel. Am I dreaming?
Franklin Delano Roosevelt might be the most polarizing American president in history. Once you see this trailer however, I think everyone will collectively agree that America’s 32nd president is one badass motherfudgeer. In the current trend of taking history and transforming it into action-horror movies, FDR is the ultimate killing machine, kicking ass and taking names.
The only event where women of questionable Football skills but amazingly curvy physiques suit up in as little clothing as possible, a couple of pads, and start banging into each other at full force is back. The Lingerie Bowl is here again.
By the way people are going nuts over this 2-minute teaser trailer, you’d think it was in the running for Best Picture. Remixes, mash-ups, and now, a cartoon version with footage from “Batman The Animated Series,” which ranks just under The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, and Batman (Michael Keaton) on the list of best Batman adaptations of all time. Props for creativity. Enjoy.
So last week I talked about two mysterious teasers that were released for a video game titled The Last of Us. Well, at the Video Game Awards they finally released a real trailer with the game’s graphics. The game is being made by the amazing people over at Naughty Dog, so we’re most likely going to be seeing something much like the Uncharted series. Now what does this mean for us?
Okay, so the zombie fad may have died out…but we all knew it was going to rise again. This trailer for a fan-made Left 4 Dead movie gives us a taste of what could happen if we put true zombie fans behind the camera. Without the studios, or directors too old to remember where their Depends are, we get this gritty and gory badassness that makes me excited to see what they pump out for their actual film. For now though, you’re just going to have to settle for the trailer.

And here you have it. The day we’ve all been waiting for. I realize I say that a lot, but I’ve been craving a Grand Theft Auto fix since I beat Grand Theft Auto IV back in 2008, approximately 4 days after it came out. This isn’t a teaser trailer either. There’s new features to see with each passing second, and who knows how many didn’t make the cut.
