In case you missed it (like most college students who don’t think to watch CBS), we’re gonna post this 14 minute clip of 60 Minutes’ Interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They discuss South Park, their strange relationship and the ridiculously amazing Broadway phenomenon The Book of Mormon. Even if you aren’t a fan of theater, I suggest you go see it – I did, and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.

It’s been 12 years since Trey Parker and Matt Stone destroyed the big screen with the 81 minute, smut fest that was South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, and 7 years since Team America: World Police. The two have taken a long break from movies, but finally, after maintaining South Park for 15 seasons and launching a successful Broadway show in The Book of Mormon, that same broadway show is bringing them back to Hollywood. Plans for the movie are officially in the works.
The eccentric creators of South Park – the sharpest, raunchiest cartoon ever created – busted in on the first day of an NYU “Storytelling Strategies” class as part of the MTV show “Stand In,” where celebrities come and teach a college class for a day. Genius. And I don’t think it gets any better than Matt and Trey. You can check out the episode when it premieres on October 3, or preview it with this video.
