The Campus Socialite Reviews Par-City’s Fueled by Revenge

Beats: A+

Lyrics: A

Originality: B

Stand Out Tracks: Insomniac (All Night), Rockin’ Right Now, Another Heater

Several days prior to their biggest release, to date, the Bronx trio (Willy Dope, Anti, and Gif) shared with me their vision and the “motivation” behind the EP, Fueled by Revenge.  They stressed that with this album being only 8 tracks, much shorter then their  four previous mixtapes, they really had “to get down to business, while making sure that they still had “something for everyone.” Furthermore, that Par-City could stand out with the best in hip hop. In with that said, after listening to the album several times. I would have to agree with the up-and-coming rap group.

Fueled by Revenge is a high-energy EP filled with top quality production and lyricism. There’s no doubt that this album was well thought out and precisely executed down to the rapper’s order of flowing. The synth-heavy album titled introduction catches the listener’s attention right away and sets a type of tone that will have you head-nodding with the mean mug face in no time. Lyrically, Par-City shines when it comes to word play and content. Moreover, Fueled by Revenge definitely demonstrates Par-City’s diverse catalog with tracks like “Motivation” that will keep you inspired and tracks like “Another Heater” that will have you right in the club, bottle-poppin’ dancing up on a lil’ sumpthin’ sumpthin’. This EP as a whole is something you can listen to anywhere and just chill out and vibe to. This album  is something worth listening to and thats why we here at The Campus Socialite give it a grade A.

Check out their first single “motivation” below!
