Most guys would agree their girl is one of the most important things to them. We want to make you happy in every way we possibly can. Sometimes, though, girls decide they need to talk or want to ask us something at the wrong time: When the game is on.
So I was sitting at home the other night watching my Flyers lose a hard fought game to the eventual Stanley Cup champion, the Chicago Blackhawks. My mom decided to ask my dad a question while he was very into the game and he gave her a quick answer, and she got mad because he didn’t look away from the television. My mom couldn’t have waited to ask a question about where the newspaper was? It was obvious he was very into the game, so why did she have to ask him a question when she knew it was going to be a quick answer?
There are tons of pauses during sporting events which grant us amicable time to answer simple questions. However, if you want to have a feelings talk, that is going to have to wait until either after the game is over, or the next day, depending on how your man feels about his team. If he is anything like Jimmy Fallon’s character in Fever Pitch, you might want to wait a few days before you have the feelings talk with him.
We aren’t asking for much here. Just give us our time to watch the game and then we will do whatever you want to do. Feel free to sit with us and enjoy the game! If you are a female and a sports fan, that is a big way to score points with your man.
