Throwback Thursdays: Adam Sandler’s Thanksgiving Song, Helen Keller! The Musical, and Son in Law

That was a mouthful. Welcome to the Thanksgiving Edition of Throwback Thursdays, where I’ve meticulously collected some of the best old school Turkey Day crap into one place for you. While you’ll probably spend most of the day stuffing your face, playing/watching football, and conversing with your least favorite relatives, you might get 5 minutes of downtime. That’s what I’m here for.

The Thanksgiving Song – Adam Sandler

Everyone knows the Thanksgiving Song, and if you don’t, well, you can go fuck off. This classic is up there with The Hannukah Song and Lunch Lady Land. Adam Sandler used to be such a creative genius, what the hell happened to him? (If you’re a good Adam Sandler fan you might get that joke).

Helen Keller! The Musical

The classic South Park Thanksgiving Special featuring Timmy as Helen Keller and everyone’s favorite Turkey, Gobbles. Unfortunately you can’t embed entire episodes from South Park Studios, so instead I embedded Matt Stone and Trey Parkey’s commentary on the episode.

Son in Law

If you’re on the younger side of college students then you may have no idea who Pauly Shore is, or that this movie even existed. I assure you, it is one of the best worst movies of all time. Technically it’s not a Thanksgiving movie, but the whole debacle takes place over Thanksgiving break from college, so it deserves to be on here. It reeks of early 90’s, but there’s no arguing a classic.
