Xtreme Brands Set To Combine The Best Of College Travel Experts And Xtreme Trips

June 5, 2012 (New York, NY) Two of the country’s leading travel and entertainment companies, Xtreme Trips and College Travel Experts, are pleased to announce the formation of a new company effective June 5, 2012. The new name of their combined entities is Xtreme Brands, LLC. This event will bring together two of the country’s experts in destination travel, blending talents and resources in the areas of spring break, fall break, fan travel, Greek formals and weekend getaways. Xtreme Brands will serve the college student and alumni market both domestic and abroad with an extensive network of representatives based in over 40 states.

Xtreme Trips’ Todd Steinberg will be Xtreme Brands’ Chief Operating Officer and Jared Sarney will serve as President. College Travel Experts’ Andrew Gordon and Alex Goldstein will join Xtreme Brands as Executive Vice Presidents. Mark Tobin, one of the early pioneers of Party City, will serve as Chief Executive Officer. The company’s headquarters will be located in Plainview, NY beginning in August 2012.

The name Xtreme Brands refers to the new company’s vision to become a presence across college campuses beyond just travel. It represents a commitment to providing college students with the Xtreme Xperience, which will be a strong component of Xtreme Brands’ offerings and initiatives. Xtreme Brands’ strong resource base will allow for the company’s aggressive expansion into a multichannel entity that serves the collegiate market beyond the beach and in the dorms.

This union of these two award-winning travel and entertainment companies represents over 20 years of bringing travelers to exciting locations across the United States, Mexico and Caribbean. Todd Steinberg commented, “The opportunity to bring veteran business people and organic ideas together to form Xtreme Brands has me incredibly excited about how we can best provide travel and entertainment solutions for the constantly evolving collegiate market and beyond.”

About Xtreme Trips

Xtreme has traveled over 75,000 students and has been recognized as the nation’s fastest growing student travel company for the sixth straight year.

About College Travel Experts

More recently, CTE expanded into spring break and fall break including trips to Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas and Puerto Vallarta, where the company hosted a 42-day music festival called Electro Beach Puerto Vallarta.
