The Preakness Stakes: everyone’s favorite third Saturday in May when you go out with 120,000 of your closest friends to drink in the infield and gamble on horses. Think back to last year when you had your Preakness plans all revved up and ready to go only to find out that bringing your own beer was officially banned from the infield. I know it was quite a traumatic experience for us all. Attendance dropped by more than 30% following the ban, no surprise here right? Well the owners of the race have decided to do something about that.

Pimlico Race Course realized they needed to do something to attract the younger college audience once again while also not jeopardizing the safety of its attendees. Their solution….an all you can drink option for only $20.

At first glance this seems like it’s almost too good to be true, and of course it is. The catch is that you’re restricted to the “Mug Club” to get and drink all the beer. Therefore, this area will most definitely be incredibly packed with drunken college kids such as you. No word yet on the maximum capacity for the “Mug Club,” also you will still need to drop $40 just to get into the infield. So all in all a total of $60 bucks for a daylong drinking fest. Will this be enough to attract the old crowd from 2008? Only time will tell….
