Timothy Jordan, Sr. Developer Advocate for Google, presented at SXSW this past week about Google’s most anticipated product of 2013: Google Glass. Glass is creating a new user experience; bringing technology closer to the user, in order to get it out of the way. Mr. Jordan discussed how Glass can improve people’s lives and how developers can use the cloud API can bridge these new experiences. The Mirror API that Google released will allow developers to present information in ways that are designed for the wearable units, don’t get in the way, and don’t pop up at bad times. Attached is a link to Timothy Jordan’s presentation at SXSW where he discusses the Mirror API for developers,as well as best practices.
