You all know that The Campus Socialite team has been nothing but supportive of this whole GTL Jersey Shore TV movement. We live tweet during episodes, we promoted The Situations Vitamin Water commercial, we have even recapped episodes each week. But this new development, from quite possibly my favorite character on the show, DJ Pauly D, might have crossed the line. DJ Pauly D as we all know is a quickly becoming a famous DJ. According to his booking agent, to do a college show he’s quoting $25,000 per night. Ballzy, we know. But we’re not hating on trying to get your paper right, and maximize your worth. All for it. But when I heard Pauly D’s new song “It’s Time To Beat Dat Beat”, it reminded that although MTV has done wonders with the Jersey Shore show, there really is zero talent in the entire collective bunch. I am going to nominate “It’s Time To Beat Dat Beat” as the worst song in history. “Who Let The Dogs Out”, “Macarena”, and “Holla Back Girl” all sound like musical genius compared to this jam.
