GrubLife, the leader in college group-buying, is hitting the road and may even be coming to your college campus. Marquise GrubLife, along with 2 other guys, is holding several events in Wisconsin, Michigan, and a Grub-of-War at Penn State.
These events are basically guaranteed fun and you are also guaranteed to receive the best deals from the GrubLife website on nearly anything you can possibly need, ranging from Portopong Tables to liquors to condoms (which you can find featured in several other blog entries on our site). Here is a list of the events Marquise GrubLife will be sponsoring for the next few days, hopefully you can make at least one!
1. GrubLife at Penn State for a Grub-of-War (Wing Challenge)
Hopefully you can catch this great event GrubLife is hosting tonight (Wednesday) at The Phyrst at 7pm. People are welcome to come down and compete at anytime, or else just watch. There is a $5 entry fee, but if you are just able to finish the wing challenge, you will get a $5 credit for GrubLife, allowing you to receive awesome deals. If you finish the challenge in flying colors, 1st prize is $50, 2nd prize is $25, and 3rd prize is a $10 Gift Certificate. The NIGHTCRAWLERS will also be performing on stage at 10pm, which will be even more entertaining with the DRINK specials offered all night long.
A film crew will be walking around to document the event, so please come show Nitanny Lion support and feel free to send us an e-mail ahead of time if you want to enter the contest at marketing@grublife.com.
If you can’t make the event, you might still be able to be filmed by our crew! Marquise and the camera crew will be visiting the SAM frat house at Penn State, as well as several other college campuses, to get some interviews.
2. GrubLife Presents University of Wisconsin with PortOpong
GrubLife will be coming down to University of Wisconsin this Saturday for a FREE Beer Pong Tournament feating PortOpong at Logan’s Madtown at 8pm.
Come down and compete in the 1st Annual Beer Pong Tournament brought to you by GrubLife and PortOpong. It is free to enter the contest, so please do so at marketing@grublife.com. Be sure to have only 2-person teams!
1st place wins a $50 Gift Certificate per team member as well as a PortOpong Table. 2nd place wins a $20 Gift Certificate per team member.
For those of you who suck at Beer Pong and aren’t competing, Logan’s Madtown is offering drink specials all night long.
3. GrubLife In Wisconsin For Grub-of-War (Big Ass Burger Challenge)
Are you ready to man up? Come to State Street Brats this Saturday for the Big Ass Burger Challenge where you will attempt to conquer the State Street Brats Burger (1 lb burger, 1 lb of brats, cheese curds, cheese and fried pickles on a sourdough bun) along with 1 lb of fries and a 32oz drink.
No one has ever been able to finish this challenge…will you be the first?
1st Prize is $100 in Gift Certificates while 2nd + 3rd place will receive EA Sports/GrubLife prizes. However, all participants will get GrubLife t-shirts and promo items just for competing.
While there is a $10 entry fee, you will basically be reimbursed since anyone who finishes the challenge will get $10 worth of credit on GrubLife.
EA Sports will be providing free playtime on gaming consoles during the event, as well.

GrubLife is coming to Kollege Klub in Wisconsin for Wii Game Night on Friday.

GrubLife will also be stopping in Ann Arbor, Michigan on their Smart Car road trip along with several vendors to host some events on campus.
