The Campus Socialite Profiles DJ Greg Street

Greg Street wears many hats: DJ, radio personality, sneaker head, philanthropist, lifestyle ambassador, and many more. When he’s not DJing for popular Atlanta radio station V-103, you can probably find Greg Street amongst the movers and shakers in the music industry. Whether he is putting together new mixtapes, contributing to the local community, DJing tastemaker events across the country, forming major brand partnerships, or hosting his own viral webisodes, Greg Street is everywhere you want to be.

2011 is shaping up to be a huge year for Greg Street. He is currently gearing up with Adidas to produce the Sneaker Friends Tour. In past years, Puma, Ciroc, and Adidas have been on board to produce the event, and Andre 3000, Big Boi, Rick Ross, and Yelawolf have either hosted or performed. Check out Sneaker Friends 2010 Recap.

In addition to the Sneaker Friends Tour, Greg Street hosts Sole Music TV, a weekly webisode series that highlights the latest in music, sneakers, and fashion trends for the tastemakers and young consumers.

Beyond music and entertainment, Street spends a lot of his time giving back to the community, so much so that he launched a reading program addressing illiteracy in Atlanta’s high schools called “We Need 2 Read.” It’s a competition that motivates high school students to read books and write reports by awarding a $10,000 scholarship at the end of the program.
