Why would one of the first conversations I have with a friend I haven’t seen in years be about drinking? Why wouldn’t it be, is a better question. He told me that a few years ago, the first time he went out drinking, he didn’t know what to order, so whatever song was playing at the bar, he would order the type of alcohol they sang about. Now, it’s safe to say we all know he ended up completely wasted, since so many songs are about various types of alcohol. If you want to go out and get hammered in a way you’ve never done before, listen to the DJ. In today’s bars, you’d be sure to get effed up if these – and many others – came on.

The title of this song says it all. Instead of telling you why this song is starting off this playlist, I’ll just tell you all the different types of alcohol mentioned: Ciroc, patron (a popular choice in most club songs), different shots: jagerbombs, lemondrops, buttery nipples, jello shots – at this point I’m throwing up already…but if you’re better at drinking, carry 0n – kamikaze, three wise men…and then gin. Woah.
2. Say Aah – Trey Songz

If Trey was at the club or bar and offered to fill your cup up, you better not ever think of questioning what’s in it…just say aah. In this case, Trey likes to pop champagne and pour cranberry and vodkas. Mixing alcohols could end up ugly for some people, so drinking according to this song’s lyrics could be a disaster waiting to happen…or just a straight-up good time.
3. I’m the Ish Remix – DJ Class

“Patron in my cup.” Second line of the song. Enough said. DJ Class even sips Rose out of the bottle in the middle of the floor, so I mean, if you’re playing this game properly, you’ve better be sipping on something throughout the song…even if you can’t get Rose at the bar.
4. Whatever You Like – T.I.

Although this song isn’t in the Top 20’s anymore, it’s still a very popular club song. Mentioning Patron in the first line and regularly throughout the song, T.I. can get you nice and drunk. If you really want, you can pop bottles too, I’m just leaving the type of alcohol in said bottles up to you.
5. Tick Tock – Ke$ha

Ke$ha is a hot mess all the time. If you want to be a drunk mess, just listen to any of her music and follow her lead. I chose this song for the playlist because it’s still commonly hear in public, most people – myself included – still like the song and it mentions my favorite form of alcohol: Jack Daniels.
