It’s nearly time for Halloween, and I’m sure in just a few short hours you Socialites will start partying because we all know this spooky holiday lasts the whole weekend when you’re in college. So if you’re in class, procrastinating on your work, or just sitting around bored waiting to put on your costume, I’ve got something to help you pass the time.

Remember Oregon Trail? It was that awesome old school video game that you used to get yelled at for playing on the elementary school computers (On a side note, why did they always put the game on there if they didn’t intend for anyone to play it?). You would travel across the country in the 19th century with a bunch of useless computers. You know, Manifest Destiny, the gold rush, the Louisiana Purchase and all that good stuff. Along the way you’d hunt, forage, and your entire caravan would die of snakebite or dysentery. Come to think of it, I don’t think I ever made it all the way to Oregon.

But that’s neither here nor there. In celebration of Halloween, The Men Who Wear Many Hats have put together Organ Trail. That’s right: A flash game about zombies that is based on the original Oregon Trail. And it’s loads of fun when you have absolutely nothing else to do. I have one gripe with it though: In the original game you had to hunt animals for food…you can’t eat zombies, so what’s supposed to motivate me to kill them, besides for fun?
