At the beginning of the summer we were saddened by the loss of one of our favorite websites that no one talked about because we figured it would sort itself out and be back in the fall. Although it will be back, its sure is taking a while. Fratmusic.com the best website to get your Friday night bumping and it’s just gone. According to a tumblr post from the site’s creator’s the website will be back, but they give no definite time frame.
The good thing about this little hiatus is that the site is supposed to come back better than ever, with a new design and new features everyone likes new right!
The site was great for introducing new music from artist that may not have been established yet. I know I heard my first Drake song on Fratmusic.com and I’m pretty sure it helped me create my spring break playlist. I think it’s safe to say this website was very important to a lot of people.
Hopefully something will come to sustain my need for a fun music player until Fratmusic returns because my dance parties have been lacking ever since. While it seems like it’s taking forever I’m sure we will all be pleasantly surprised with what they come back with. Look at Facebook, it changes like every few months (see new subscribe feature…) and everyone deals with it and I’m sure we’ll adapt just the same to Fratmusic.
