If this was The Sandlot, John Wall would have been told by his friends that, “he plays ball like a girl!” If you missed it, John Wall has now earned the dubious honor of throwing the worst first pitch in baseball history. Celebrities get their balls busted for throwing a 1st pitch in the dirt, this one didn’t even make the dirt. I’ll be honest, if I am a Wizards fan, this would make me a bit concerned. You put John Wall on the free throw line, with seconds to go and needing to hit a big game winner, his nerves might get the best of him. I understand baseball isn’t basketball, and he’s a pro basketball player, ok, but if you got ice in your veins, then you got ice in your veins, and John Wall does not have ice in veins. Let’s just hope the Washington Nationals weren’t hoping that John Wall would replace their injured pitching star Steven Strasberg.
